Tiffany Phong of Monroe Elementary School is Santa Rosa City Schools elementary student of the month for March.
“Tiffany is a joy,” her fifth grade teacher Mrs. Godfrey told district officials. “She is always working hard to get the most out of her education.”
Phong, a sixth grader, is described as a complete student who shines brightest in math. She helps explain concepts to her peers and often helps those around her, according to school officials. A strong public speaker, Phong is described as a natural leader and a student who is not shy about speaking her mind. She is student council president.
Lauded for her compassion with both friends and animals, Phong has expressed an interest in pursuing a career in the veterinary field or in animal rescue.
