Ridgway High School’s Katie Bedser is Santa Rosa City Schools student of the month for March.
Bedser is currently on track to graduate this spring with a 3.82 grade point average, according to school officials.
Bedser is described as motivated, prepared, insightful, punctual and helpful. She also has not missed a single day of school all year.
She works with food services at lunch, is enrolled at Cyber High and is taking a sign language class at Santa Rosa Junior College. She also participates in a lunchtime literature discussion group and is enrolled in a rhetorical reading and writing program.
Bedser plans to study business management at the JC next year.
