There are two more bicycle safety rodeos being held this month at Sebastopol schools.

On Wednesday, April 21, a bike rodeo will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Brook Haven Middle School. On Wednesday, April 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. a rodeo will be held at Park Side Elementary School.

The events are free and open to the public.

Students who attend will get guided instruction from Safe Routes to School staff, as well as Sebastopol Police, on how to improve their bicycle handling skills under varying conditions. They will also be given lessons on traffic signs, get helmets fitted properly and have their bikes inspected by employees from West County Revolution and West County Cycle Service.

The events are sponsored by Safe Routes to Schools, the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition and the city of Sebastopol.

Brook Haven Middle School is located at 7905 Valentine Ave. and Park Side Elementary School is located at 7450 Bodega Ave.
