Are you a book lover?

Get ready for Sept. 25 when the Sonoma County Book Festival takes over Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa for its 11th annual gathering.

Admission is free and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are author talks, books for sale, books signings and panels of writers and publishers. There will also be a kids area where children’s authors will give readings and there will be various performances.

The schedule also includes three panels featuring the topics of screen writing, the book business and food and wine writing.

Poets Robin Ekiss, Keith Ekiss, Katherine Hastings and Tom Centolella will read from their works.

There will be a poetry slam for teens, with cash prizes and a panel discussion with young adult writers.

The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition will offer free valet bike parking.
