Elisa Fragoso is Santa Rosa City Schools elementary school student of the month for January.
Fragoso is an honor roll student and three-year veteran of the student council at Lincoln Elementary School. The sixth grader excelled at last year’s spelling bee and is expected to compete again this year.
Teachers describe Fragoso as a leader, good citizen and a person who knows how to conduct herself in social situations.
She “shines from the inside out,” one teacher said. She is also described as naturally caring with a great sense of responsibility.
