The Healdsburg School will host a forum on protecting children from internet threats on Thursday.
“Protecting Your Child in the Cyber World” will be presented by police officer Steve DeWarns from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 20.
DeWarns has appeared on the Today Show and Dr. Phil, talking about how parents can help insure safe web navigation, avoid unwanted solicitation and cyber bullying.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or at Powell’s Sweet Shoppe in Healdsburg.
The Healdsburg School is located at 33 Healdsburg Ave.
