Cardinal Newman and Ursuline high schools will host “Arts Alive Festival” the first week of March.

The focus will be pieces and works that touch an array of art mediums, including graphic design, photography, guitar, jazz ensemble, painting, film, video production, dance, poetry and drama.

March 1 from 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. is the opening reception in Ursuline’s Brescia Hall. From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. a “Red Carpet Film Festival” will be screened in Newman’s ACC building.

March 2 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. a “Night of Drama” will be staged in Ursuline’s student center.

March 3 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. “Poetry Night” will be held in Newman’s ACC building.

March 4 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. “So Show Me,” a performing arts show featuring music, singing and  dance will be staged in Ursuline’s gym.

All Arts Alive events are free and open to the public.
