Music is on the minds of parents and students at Mark West district. Students will put on a winter concert Thursday night to raise money for the district’s music program. The show begins at 7 p.m. in the Mark West Elementary School, 4600 Lavell Road.
Tickets for adults are $2. Popcorn is $1 and bottle water is $1.
The event will be followed by a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon on April 9 at San Miguel School, 5350 Faught Road.
Money raised from the $5 donation will go to support the district’s education foundation which supports music programs in the district’s schools.
