Musicians from Montgomery High School will provide the background music for “A Taste of Montgomery Village,” a fundraiser for the high school drama department.

The school is slated to send a small troupe of drama students to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer – a three week event in August that turns street corners and churches, as well as traditional theaters, into performing arts spaces for the biggest theater festival in the world.

“A Taste of Montgomery Village” runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the shopping center. A $40 buys 10 tastes and all the music you can handle form the jazz band, jazz choir, quartet and others.

Other upcoming events to benefit Montgomery’s drama department include:

ComedySportz Improv Night on May 12

Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch on May 13, 14

Rummage sale May 14 (the department is currently accepting donations for the sale, according to organizers)

Mystery of Irma Vep June 1

Dance Night June 11

Murder Mystery Dinner July 10. $50 tickets include dinner and show.
