The Sonoma County Association of School Administrators honored the best among their group Monday night in a ceremony at Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa.

SCASA president Casey D’Angelo provided the opening remarks and the Sonoma County Office of Education director of human resources Jeff Heller gave out the awards. The appetizers were created by the culinary students at Maria Carrillo High School.

The following administrators were honored as Administrators of the Year:

Superintendent: Tony Roehrick of Bellevue

Superintendent/Princpal: Chris Rafanelli of Liberty

Elementary Principal: Aracely Romo-Flores, Jefferson School in Cloverdale

Junior High Principal: Deborah Hall, Healdsburg Junior High

High School Principal: Linda Scheele, Casa Grande High

Special Ed Principal: Sue Nieuwenjuijs, Region 1 SCOE

Vice Principal: Raul Guerrero, Analy High

Assistant Principal: Eric Backman, Casa Grande High

Business Services Administrator: Joseph Pandolfo, Rincon Valley Unified

Confidential Employee: Christy Defanti, Petaluma City Schools

Personnel/Human Resources Administator: Debbie McKay, SCOE

Collaborative Leadership: Maureen Rudder and Sherry Devine, Petaluma City Schools
