There are some administrative lineup changes in Santa Rosa City Schools for the fall.

Gail Eagan is moving from Cotati-Rohnert Park to fill the assistant superintendent of K-6 curriculum post made vacant by Greg Espinoza’s retirement after 35 years with the district. Eagen held a similar post with Cotati-Rohnert Park.

Aracely Romo-Flores moves from Jefferson School in Cloverdale to take over the principal post at Biella Elementary School. Biella’s current principal, Winnie Hogoboom, spent 38 years in the district.

Laura Hendrickson is taking the reins at Comstock Middle School. Jose Benitez held the principal post for one year. Hendrickson has been in the district 14 years as teacher, assistant principal and summer school principal.

Claudia Unruh joins Maria Carrillo High School as vice principal. She has spent the last three years as assistant principal at Rancho Cotate High.

Elizabeth Evans is taking over the principal position at Santa Rosa Charter School for the Arts on an interim basis while principal Anna Guzman works on her doctoral dissertation. Evans currently serves as assistant principal at Elsie Allen High School. She has also served as the arts coordinator at the Arts Charter and as a teacher.
