But also new to the ranks are Anne Barron, the new chief financial officer who will replace Wade Roach. Roach is heading to Napa County to perform similar duties. Barron has worked with Roach for years.

“She is in the same office, has been director of business and fiscal service for four years. She’s been involved in all budget and interim reports,” Roach said before leaving his post. “She is actually more of the hands on accountant over the payroll cycles. It will be an easy transition for her to come up and sit in this chair.”

This post is expected to be key as the district has faced deep budget cuts and is currently on the state watch list for financial issues.

Elizabeth Kaufman is the new assistant superintendent of instructional services. Gail Eagen has moved to Santa Rosa City Schools to become assistant superintendent.

Also new is Bruce Mims who will take over the principal post at Technology High for the departing Adam Littlefield.

Sharon Ferrer will take over as assistant principal at Rancho Cotate High School. Claudia Unruh has moved to Santa Rosa City Schools to become vice principal at Maria Carrillo High School.

Scott Johnson will be assistant principal at Lawrence Jones Middle School and Teresa Ruffoni is the new principal at Marguerite Hahn Elementary School.
