The Santa Rosa Junior College theater arts department is holding auditions for two upcoming productions.

Auditions are Aug. 26 and 27.

The plays being staged are “Big Love” by Charles Lee and “My Fair Lady” by Alan Jay Lerner.

Those interested can audition on either Friday, Aug. 26 or Saturday, Aug. 27. Arrival time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. both days. Audition slots are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Callbacks are Sunday at noon.

Those auditioning should bring a headshot or snapshot, resume and calendar. Only calendar conflicts for rehearsal schedules will be accepted, according to officials.

For “Big Love,” those auditioning should prepare a one-minute monologue, contemporary or classical, serious or comic.

For “My Fair Lady,” those auditioning should perform one full minute of a song from a musical, preferably from a Broadway musical from the 50s or 60s. Bring sheet music in your key and organizers ask auditioners to dress for a dance audition.
