Seven recent graduates of Sonoma County high schools were among those awarded scholarships from the California Druidic Order last month.

The $1,000 awards were given to students who are committed to furthering their education.

The California Druidic Order is a non-sectarian, non-political, international fraternal order located in California since 1860, according to officials. The Druidic Scholarship Awards Program began in 1951.
