Remember the United Way book drive in support of the Sonoma County Free Bookmobile that was held in June? Well, that drive pulled in more than 5,000 books, according to Glen Weaver, the founder of the bookmobile program.
The goal of the recent drive was 1,000 books, according to Weaver.
The expanding program is always looking for volunteers, most critically at the west Sebastopol storage site. For more information, go to www.sonomacountybookmobile.org
