This Saturday, books and their admirers will take over Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa for the 12th annual Sonoma County Book Festival.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is free.
In addition to the author talks, poetry slam and tons and tons of books for sale, there will be a Secret Agent Jack Stalwart Treasure Hunt. Young readers 5-12 look for clues at the Kid Scoop News Booth in the children’s area of the festival and go from there. Check it out.
I profiled Zoe Strickland, a book reviewing phenom from Rohnert Park. Strickland played in integral part in putting together the young authors panels and lineup this weekend. To read that story, click here http://bit.ly/p2Lumo
