The bands and groups perform for free for the public, then are given a review and evaluation from a panel of judges from Bay Area college music programs. Experts this year include Eric Hammer of the University of the Pacific, Joe Perea of Santa Rosa Junior College and Martin Seggelke of San Francisco State University.

“It’s a terrific opportunity for students to get feedback from top-flight college directors early in the year when it can do the most good,” said Analy’s director of instrumental music, Vance Regan via an email.

Music will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday and run until 8 p.m. On Saturday, the music begins at 9 a.m. and will run until 4 p.m. All performances are in the Analy auditorium and are free to the public.

Analy is located at 6950 Analy Ave. in Sebastopol.
