Montgomery High School is holding a series of open houses for its International Baccalaureate program. The first one is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20.

The “Introduction to IB” presentations are geared toward students and families of eighth through 10th graders. The program will include an overview of the IB Diploma program for juniors and seniors; an overview of Montgomery’s pre-IB program for ninth and 10th graders; testimonials from IB students, an opportunity to meet IB teachers and a question and answer period.

All sessions will be held in the library from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The first session is Oct, 20, followed by Nov. 17 and Jan. 26.

Montgomery has had an IB program since 1995. Last year, 22 seniors attempted to earn the IB Diploma and all 22 received it.
