Helen Lehman Elementary School Student Council President Gisselle Alvarez is Santa Rosa City Schools’ elementary school student of the month for November.
Described as a caring and compassionate person, the sixth grader is described as an enthusiastic learner. Responsible, hard-working and intelligent, educators at Lehman say Alvarez embraces new challenges with confidence and enthusiasm.
A gifted violinist, Alvarez also sings in the school chorus and is a member of the running team.
“Gisselle truly personifies what educators hope all students become: self-confident, motivated, independent, and energetic learners,” according to the folks at Lehman.
