Santa Rosa City Schools has named its new online charter high school: Santa Rosa Virtual Charter High School.

The school is slated to open in August.

The student application process is scheduled to begin February 15 and run through March 30.

    I think they should have gone with Blue Eyes. Anything is better than SR Virtual Charter High School. Doesn’t sound legit. Do they get a virtual diploma? It sounds like a facebook app. Like Farmville where you can do virtual farming…. This is not going to look good on a job application. It just screams out MARGINAL!!

    I tried to warn them about using the word “virtual.” It makes it sound like a joke. Like getting your license from a box of cracker jacks.
