The Analy High School music booster group, Analy Band Wagon, is departing from their normal spring fling fundraiser to host a larger event at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center Friday.

“In the Mood,” will feature big band music, wine and ale, light appetizers and a dance lesson with veteran dance instructor Stephen Nordquist.

The event raises money for Analy’s orchestra and jazz bands, as well as the intermediate, advanced and honor bands. About 220 of Analy’s 1,300 students participate in the music program.

Tickets are $20 at Copperfield’s in Sebastopol or at the door. The event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
