Justin Hall is Santa Rosa City Schools’ elementary student of the month for February.

The Proctor Terrace sixth grader is described as a hard worker, well-rounded and positive.

“An excellent learner,” two teachers said of Hall.

Hall regularly goes above and beyond what is expected of him and frequently adds something inventive to his work and projects, they said.

Hall is a member of the school’s “Nifty Kid Movie” crew for which he takes still photos and video clips and produces a monthly production with other students. In this area, Hall shows organizational skills beyond what is normally expected of a sixth grade student, teachers said.

Hall demonstrates many of Proctor’s life skills, including integrity, tolerance, effort, organization, perseverance, responsibility, self control, caring, flexibility and problem solving, according to school officials.
