Kawana Elementary School held its sixth annual petting zoo event on campus this week thanks to the Sebastopol Future Farmers of America from Analy High School.
Analy’s Sadie DeMarta led the group in at 7:30 a.m. with trailers full of hay and animals, according to Sue Schubert of Kawana School.
The FFA members have donated their time each year to this event which brings Kawana students up close and personal with animals the club members are raising for their annual projects.
Bernadette Prunetti of Kawana also helped put the event together.
