A new set of goals and teaching benchmarks for career technical education are being formulated by the California Department of Education but the window remains open for the public to weigh in on exactly what those criteria should be.

Two public hearings are scheduled, one in Sacramento on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the California Department of Education, room 1101 in Sacramento.
