Santa Rosa School Board veteran Frank Pugh is not in Spain and does not need your help paying his hotel bill.
An email presumably from Pugh’s account was sent Tuesday morning to people on his contact list telling a tale of woe from Spain – he was mugged at gunpoint, cash and credit cards were stolen and some hotelier was essentially holding him hostage until friends sent cash.
Didn’t happen. He was hacked.
Pugh now has a new email address so make a note: Pugh.frank@gmail.com
The school district sent out a note to interested parties and I expect the district website to reflect the change soon.
