Analy High’s fall festival is here.

The two-day event, now in its 15th year, will feature a slew of middle and high school band, orchestral and band group performances over two days beginning Friday night.

Groups perform for 30 minutes and are then critiqued by a panel of three judges from San Jose State, University of California at Berkeley and Sonoma State.

“It’s a terrific opportunity for students to get feedback from top-flight college directors early in the year when it can do the most good,” Analy instrumental music director Vance Regan said in a statement.

For the audience, it gives music fans a chance to sample the works of an array of school groups from around Northern California over a short period of time. All ages are welcome.

The event is free but donations are encouraged. Food is sold on site.
