REMINDER: Sonoma State University will again offer low-cost physical exams this spring.

The exams cost $20 and include blood pressure check, urinalysis and hematocrit for anemia. Pap smears cost $35, cholesterol check is $15, hearing tests are free and a DMV physical exam is $65.

The exams can be utilized for annual exams, sports physicals, pre-employment physicals, camp physicals and Class II DMV licensing physicals.

The exams, which also include a complete medical and health history and identification of risk factors, are supervised by nursing faculty and performed by family nurse practitioner students who are registered nurses enrolled in the Master’s nursing program, according to the school.

Appointments can be made on Tuesdays between March 12 and April 20.
