Dunbar School in Glen Ellen is celebrating “Read Across America” next Friday, March 8 and is looking for volunteers to come in and celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday by reading to students. The event will run from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The day will kick off a 31-day reading incentive program at the school. Here are the photos from last year’s celebration.
To volunteer, contact Linda Dezhad at 935-6070 in the Dunbar office. Volunteers can choose a reading time and grade level, reading stories to classes will be scheduled from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Volunteers can bring a favorite book or use one from the school.
