Milla Gentry of Santa Rosa Charter School for the Arts is Santa Rosa City Schools student of the month for March.

Gentry, a fifth grader, is described by her teachers as an enthusiastic student who always goes above and beyond what is asked of her.

“As a person, she is easygoing, upbeat, responsive to feedback and helpful. She is extremely kind and empathetic, allowing her to collaborate effortlessly with peers and teachers,” her visual/digital art teacher Kim Jason said in a statement.

Sierra Bradley, Gentry’s fifth grade teacher, called Gentry diligent and hardworking. “She puts effort into her work and always goes above and byond what is expected of her,” she said in a statement.

Gentry enjoys singing and dancing, as well as kickboxing, guitar, cooking and hiking.
