Author of “Callings: Finding & Following an Authentic Life” will give two presentations on April 11 for Santa Rosa Junior College students, staff as well as the general public.

Gregg Levoy will lead a staff seminar entitled “Callings: The Power of Passionate Work” at 1:30 p.m. in the Carole Ellis Auditorium on the Petaluma campus. At 6 p.m., he will lead a student-oriented seminar entitled “Don’t Just Declare a Major, Following a Calling.”

The seminars will encourage participants to question psychological and practical processes when responding to callings and the questions that arise, according to organizers.

Levoy is a fulltime lecturer and adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico.

Both events are free for SRJC employees and students. Tickets are $10 for the general public. Advance tickets are available at the Student Affairs Office. Parking is $4.
