Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition’s Safe Routes to School program is hosting a bike swap and skills rodeo in Sebastopol on April 27.
The event is free and open to the public.
Bikes for swapping must be brought to Brook Haven School, 7905 Valentine Ave., between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Bike swapping runs between 11 a.m. and noon.
The bike skills rodeo will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and participants will learn bike riding skills and tools to improve their riding in varying conditions. They will also be instructed on traffic signs. Participants will receive a helmet if they do not have one, have helmets fitted property and have their bikes inspected.
