Officials from Cardinal Newman High School have formed a transition team to help guide the 640-student school until a new president is named.

Mike Truesdell, who for nine years acted as president of the Catholic high school, announced his resignation in May.

The committee is being led by board of directors president Teejay Lowe. Principal Graham Rutherford, business manager Kathy Lydon, director of advancement Terri Derr and the Rev. Father Raul Lemus will provide a supporting role, according to a school announcement.

Bishop Robert Vasa is charged with appointing the next president.
