There are some leadership changes in Windsor School District.

Kimberlee Kimes has been named principal at Brooks Elementary School, replacing Shannyn Vehmeyer, who is now principal at Windsor Middle School. The middle school’s former principal, Lisa Saxon, has moved on to become director of educational services for the district.

Kimes began her career teaching fifth and sixth grades in Upland, Ca. She has also worked in Fremont, as a gifted and talented coordinator in New York and as a teacher specialist in La Canada, according to the Windsor School District. She most recently worked as an administrative intern in Las Virgines Unified School District in Calabasas, Ca.

Kimes’s annual salary is $76,737; Vehmeyer’s is $95,210 and Saxon’s is $96,745, according to the district..
