The Sebastopol Education Foundation is hosting their annual Renaissance Harvest Faire fundraiser this weekend.

“Much Ado About Sebastopol” will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Ives Park on Willow Street.

Last year’s fete pulled in about 4,000 people and organizers say more are expected this year. The funds generated last year helped pay for a Spanish teacher, supplemental arts programs and textbooks, according to organizers.

The event includes historical re-enactments, parades, storytelling, sword fights, entertainment, games and refreshments. The lineup of food and drink includes turkey legs, gallettes, crepes, seafood, artisan cheeses, chocolates, wine, beer and hard cider.

Single day tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for those 12-17. A weekend pass is $25 for adults, $15 for those 12-17. Children 11 and under are free.

Proceeds benefit Park Side Elementary, Brook Haven School and Analy High School.
