Annemarie McKenzie is Santa Rosa City Schools middle school student of the month.
McKenzie, an eighth grader at Santa Rosa Middle School, is active in track and cross country and participates in the school’s leadership program.
Teachers describe her as diligent, hard-working, enthusiastic and committed.
Leadership teacher Debra LaPrath describes McKenzie as a “leader among leaders” and someone who can be counted on to motivate peers to get things done quickly and efficiently.
McKenzie also participates in soccer and gymnastics and has posted a top score in algebra among two classes.
