Jacky Jimenez-Andrade is Santa Rosa City Schools Elementary School student of the month for November.

The Helen Lehman sixth grader is student council president, a top miler in physical education and a strong student.

“She is well-liked by her peers and constantly acts with integrity in a variety of social situations,” fifth grade teacher Leslie Stirnus told district officials in support of Jimenez’s nomination.

Teachers describe her as a role model who can be counted on to volunteer for a variety of activities, including an all-day bike rodeo.

“She was contributing as a volunteer all day, helping and willingly doing whatever was asked of her,” said fourth grade teacher Cynthia Sumrall.

The officials at Lehman said Jimenez has been supported throughout her educational career by a strong family.
