Jasmine Becker, Slater Middle School eighth grader is Santa Rosa City Schools middle school student of the month for December.
Becker, who runs track and cross country for the Spartans, was lauded by her teachers for her intelligence, hard work, drive, grace and grit.
She is a great student, compassionate, hard-working and respectful, according to teacher Wendy Provost.
Coach and teacher Joe Walsh said Becker is a talented runner but it’s her character that is her greatest asset. She’s a find blend of grace and grit, he said.
Becker is a straight-A student who spends a good deal of time creating quality school work, teachers said. Hers is the work of an intelligent, dedicated, hard-working individual, they said.
