Lewis Opportunity School’s Elijah Brumley is Santa Rosa City Schools student of the month for January.
Brumley, a freshman at Lewis School, has earned a 3.5 grade point average as well as extra credit since starting at Lewis in the fall, according to school officials.
Brumley is credited with attending school regularly and becoming “one of the finest students at Lewis Opportunity Program,” school officials wrote in support of Brumley’s award.
