El Molino High School will celebrate a half century of educating young people with a big party and fundraiser May 10.

The event, hosted by booster groups supporting Lions’ athletics, performing arts, culinary arts, leadership and agriculture programs, will feature dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions.

The event will be a reunion of sorts for all classes of Lions through the school’s 50 year history.  The school opened in 1964.

The celebration will begin at 5 p.m. with appetizers created by the school’s culinary arts students.

Individual tickets are $65 and group tables are available for purchase for varying prices. To purchase tickets, go to www.elmolino.org or call 523-3728.

The event will be held at the Santa Rosa Junior College Shone Farm, 7450 Steve Olson Lane in Forestville.
