Website allows students/parents to visit college campuses from home (sort of)

I came across what looks like a new web site that attempts to be a clearinghouse for basic information on college campuses. Users can search by region, school type, majors etc. at CampusExplorer.com. I used it to check out a campus I am familiar with and found it vaguely interesting. Turkey trot brings in birds, bucks

The folks at the Redwood Gospel Mission had something extra to be thankful for this Thanksgiving as 22 middle schoolers from Santa Rosa Christian School ran, walked, skipped and Rollerbladed around Finley Hall at the Sonoma County Fair Grounds to raise money and turkeys for a festive holiday meal. Open gym open for business

Winter open gym at Comstock Middle School is on. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the gym at 2750 W. Steele Ln. is open to middle and high schoolers for basketball and sports through March. It’s free.
