Students create 3-D mural

Kindergarteners at Santa Rosa Charter School for the Arts created a 3-D mural on the Humboldt Street campus. The official unveiling was Thursday. According to organizers, the students drew garden images that were then enlarged and turned into plywood cutouts. Cloverdale honors Courtney

Courtney Jade Davis was supposed to graduate from Cloverdale High Friday night, but she lost her battle with cancer in January 2008. But her classmates can’t and won’t forget her, honoring the student who played basketball, volleyball and softball for the Eagles before Ewings sarcoma struck. On Friday, the graduates honored one of their own on one of the biggest nights of their lives.

Ridgway graduating largest class…ever

Ridgway High School in Santa Rosa will hand out diplomas to at least 90 students Friday morning at 10 — the largest class to graduate since the continuation high school was founded in 1968, said Principal Bob Hucek.
