Guerneville’s Marissa Alger wins state poster award
An eighth grader at Guerneville School has been named the state winner in a contest to choose the best school bus safety poster. Marissa Alger’s work beat out competitors from Sonoma, Marin, Lake and Mendocino counties before advancing to the state competition where she won top honors.
