San Miguel’s Christie featured in education magazine

Some familiar faces appear in the March 2012 edition of California Educator, the magazine of the California Teachers Association. San Miguel Elementary School teacher Lisl Christie is featured in a story about transitional kindergarten (Mark West School District has run a supplemental program for Young Fives for years). North Coast one-room schoolhouses featured in magazine

California Educator magazine, the publication of the California Teachers Association, has a big spread on one-room schoolhouses, a few of which are on the North Coast. Featured prominently are Comptche elementary school in Mendocino County, as well as Wooden Valley School in Napa County.
