SRCS trustees assigned graduation posts

Ceremony assignments are set to be formalized tonight for the string of Santa Rosa City Schools graduation festivities. For those interested, here is the lineup of which trustees will preside over which events. All graduations are on May 31 except for Mesa which is on May 30: Elsie Allen and Midrose, 5 p.m.: Laura Gonzalez. Grace’s Ketzer-Dean is student of the month

Amelia Ketzer-Dean is Santa Rosa City Schools high school student of the month for January. Because Ketzer-Dean spent her freshman year living on St. Martin Island, she was deficient credits when she enrolled at Santa Rosa High her sophomore year. None of the credits she earned her freshman year were transferrable. Ketzer-Dean enrolled at Grace in order to catch up on credits without sacrificing a year of schooling. Grace High steps up for San Bruno victims

The students of Grace High School, a small necessary campus on the grounds of Piner High, chipped in and donated $50 to the victims of the San Bruno blast and fire. The district, to its credit, has posted every single comment tallied so far on their long list of potential budget cuts.
