Lawrence Jones students stage ‘flash mob’ dance to ‘Thriller’

The students at Lawrence Jones Middle School in Rohnert Park got freaky and funky a day before Halloween, doing a flash mob dance to “Thriller” to promote their “Halloween Dance Spooktacular.” The students did the dance twice over the course of a a week to generate enthusiasm for the dance. LJMS’s Galeazzi named top middle school teacher

Good news from Lawrence Jones Middle School in Rohnert Park – English teacher Rae Galeazzi has been named the Region 1 California League of Middle Schools educator of the year. The honor means Galeazzi, a 31-year veteran, will be honored at the California League of Middle Schools annual conference in Sacramento in March. Cotati-RP holding bond spending town hall

Cotati-Rohnert Park School District will hold a town hall meeting to take public input and answer questions related to its 1990 bond measure funds and spending. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in Presentation Hall at Lawrence Jones Middle School, 5154 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park. For more information, go to  www.crpusd.org
