San Miguel’s Christie featured in education magazine

Some familiar faces appear in the March 2012 edition of California Educator, the magazine of the California Teachers Association. Mark West music group hosting fundraiser

The Mark West Education Foundation Music Committee is hosting its second annual pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. March 10 in the multi-purpose room of San Miguel Elementary School. The event supports music programs throughout the district. Breakfast is a $5 per plate donation for pancakes, eggs and sausage, as well as coffee, juice and milk. UPDATE: The performance is Thursday, March 10. An earlier blog headline had the incorrect day. My apologies. ___ Music is on the minds of parents and students at Mark West district. Students will put on a winter concert Thursday night to raise money for the district’s music program. The show begins at 7 p.m. in the Mark West Elementary School, 4600 Lavell Road.
