Sonoma Academy students participate in diversity conference

Four students from Sonoma Academy have recently returned from a three- day Student Diversity Leadership Conference in Houston, according to the school. MacLean Hartford, Lupita Alamilla, Noah Baughman and Jenna Powell are members of Sonoma Academy’s student leadership council. Talk on ‘How Great Schools Work’

Patrick Bassett, president of  the National Association of Independent Schools will give a talk “How Great Schools Work: Partnering with Parents” on Tuesday, Dec. 14. According to organizers, the event will cover questions to ask when choosing a school, what children need from adults, what schools need from parents and what parents need from schools.
