SRJC Preview day in SR this Saturday

Santa Rosa Junior College will host the second of two “College Preview Days” this Saturday to offer a look inside campus life for students and parents. SRJC offering voice in strategic planning process

Santa Rosa Junior College’s Strategic Planning Task Force is hosting a community survey asking about people’s vision for a successful college. The survey is online and available in both English and Spanish. Questions touch on what positive experiences people have had with the college, what would help making SRJC a thriving, innovative college and any other comments. Author to speak on finding a calling

Author of “Callings: Finding & Following an Authentic Life” will give two presentations on April 11 for Santa Rosa Junior College students, staff as well as the general public. Gregg Levoy will lead a staff seminar entitled “Callings: The Power of Passionate Work” at 1:30 p.m. in the Carole Ellis Auditorium on the Petaluma campus. REMINDER: Doyle Scholarship deadline is Thursday

REMINDER: The application deadline for the renewed Doyle Scholarship offered to incoming freshmen at Santa Rosa Junior College next fall is Thursday, March 14. The renewed Doyle Scholarship is being offered to members of the graduating class of 2013 who will enroll as full-time students at the junior college. Applicants must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in high school to qualify. SRJC’s Wagner named educator of the year

Santa Rosa Junior College head football coach and chairman of the kinesiology, athletics and dance department Lenny Wagner has been named educator of the year by the California Community College Physical Educators. Seven recipients are named statewide. Wagner won the award in the faculty member category.
