Bellevue names Alicia Henderson interim superintendent

The Bellevue School District in Santa Rosa has named Franklin-McKinley School District’s acting assistant superintendent Alicia Henderson as their interim superintendent. Henderson, a graduate of Healdsburg High School, replaces Tony Roehrick who is headed to Cabrillo Unified School District in Half Moon Bay. Henderson earned a bachelor’s then master’s degree from Humboldt State University and earned a Ph.D. from the University of California at San Francisco in speech and hearing science. Bellevue to launch its solar program

Bellevue school district is expected to switch its new multi-million dollar solar program on next week. District officials, along with Sonoma County Supervisors Efren Carrillo and Shirlee Zane, Santa Rosa Mayor Ernesto Olivares, and other officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. Kawana Elementary set to become K-8 charter

Kawana Elementary School is on its way to becoming a K-8 charter school with a focus on math and science, according to Bellevue Superintendent Tony Roehrick.
