The annual back to school convocation at Sonoma State University will be held at 9 a.m. Monday.

For the first time, the event will be held in the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall at the Green Music Center.

The following schedule was released by campus officials:

9  a.m. – Welcome,  Dr. Margaret Purser, Chair of the Faculty
9:05 – 9:35 a.m. – Dr. Ruben Armiñana, President of the University
9:35 – 9:45 a.m. – Karen Paniagua, President, Associated Students
9:45 – 9:55 a.m. – Mary Beth Hull, Staff Representative to the Senate
9:55 – 10:20 a.m. –  Dr. Andy Merrifield, Chapter President, California Faculty Association
10:20 – 10:40 a.m. –  Dr. Andrew Rogerson, Provost/Vice President, Academic Affairs
10:40 – 11:00 a.m – Dr. Margaret Purser, Chair of the Faculty (final remarks)
